I couldn't resist posting this absolutely delicious image of an installation by artist Shinji Turner-Yamamoto in an abandoned church in Cincinnati. It's a hanging garden created by a dead tree supporting a live, inverted tree. There's more to the post on Inhabitat. I want to live here.

Fall is in the air and it's time to make sure the fairies have a warm and safe place to go when the weather starts turning cold. Your fairy house needs to be tucked away in a mature tree trunk, have a soft ground cover like moss, and a few crumbles of cookie crumbs for her cravings. Her vacation house can be a recycled box with a few extra felted beds with sparkly bits for friends sleeping over. An art nouveau jewelry box is the perfect place for her to store her treasures. Be sure to call to her with offerings of sweet berries, artwork and beautiful signage that says 'welcome fairies' so she knows where to go.
